A Visit to the Country

I just imagine a cloud of dust rising into the stratosphere, from her tracks miles back in the dirt.

A thing that sucks about working from home — if you can call what I do “working” — is that it’s so easy to mess around and waste my time when I should be drawing. Doesn’t help that I have the ADDs. A big time-sink for me lately has been a series of Let’s Plays about the Silent Hill series. (A “Let’s Play” is a playthrough of a videogame with commentary. They’re very addictive, especially if you’re like me and have always enjoyed watching others play videogames. Here’s a gigantic archive of quality LPs.) I’ve spent the bulk of the past three days watching YouTube videos of this. Now, I emerge, blinking and shading my eyes, into the light of the day, and then I go back inside and draw comics for you.

I miss the sky.
