YES, I am aware there were a few small coloring mistakes in the last update. I fixed them. That is all I have to say on that.
And here’s a helpful little key to show you what I was thinking with all the robots in the last strip, if you couldn’t tell:
- Little Miss Mechanical, a vaguely steampunk figure from the early 1900s. You’ll be seeing her again.
- I have no idea.
- Helper from The Venture Bros. and/or Sarah Plain and Tall.
- Monitor-head design, a la Canti from FLCL and The One Electronic from Rice Boy.
- ENIAC.
- A vacuum cleaner. Har har.
- ASIMO in girl’s underwear.
- A tin robot toy.
- An 18th-century mechanical automata. Very intricate, but it can’t do much but curtsy and dance in place.
- A Dalek. But a very sweet Dalek, to be sure.
- A battle bot. For battling.
- The little-girl version of Maria, from Metropolis.
- Battle Angel Alita.
- A 1960s-style, Robbie-inspired model. But cuter.
I hope you found that informative. Because that’s all I feel like typing.

I would have sworn #8 in your early “meet the gang” strip was from explodingdog.com
