Business as Usual

Business as Usual

This may sound dumb, but I feel like I’m JUST NOW, after more than a year of updating this comic, getting to the interesting part of the story. Improvisational comics don’t always have the best pacing, I guess. Okay, Girlbot isn’t entirely improvised, since I have broad story points I have to hit, but I make it up as I go when I do thumbnails. A lot of things that ended up having a major impact on the events of the comic were ideas I came up with on the spot. Which ideas? I don’t think I feel like telling. Right now.

And I suppose it’s about time to wish people a happy St. Patrick’s Day and possibly a happy Spring Break. I’m saving most of my celebrating for next month, when I’ll be attending Stumptown! WHOOOO! I’ll be doing my best to make it to this little get together while I’m in town, if you want to engage with me in a more casual and boozy setting.

How was the drink and draw? I didn’t go because I’m terrible at drawing but I was curious what it was like.
