   I don’t see why these are called Dumb Girlbot Comics. They’re actually pretty clever.

     Actually, a tin can telephone can only work successfully if the string is stretched. Otherwise, no sound will be transfered.

     All in all, yeah, these comics are, in fact, clever.

   Clearly they’re not working because the string is going through those pocket dimensions between panels and picking up interference.
