And so begins September.

Aside from my freaking out that this year is going by so quickly, this also means that my fundraiser promise is going into effect. From now until the end of February — six months — I won’t miss a single update or throw up any surprise filler. I’ll allow myself to have some filler material (guest strips and such) while I’m out of town on my research trip, as well as some holiday-related fare, but that’s it. The rest is all story. I can’t promise that every single strip will be posted on the site exactly at midnight, but no days will be missed. THIS, I PROMISE YOU.

I’m aware that I still have some other promises to fulfill, which I will, as time allows, in the next couple of months. Thanks for making this silly little comic I do so rewarding, you guys.

And heeerrreee’s that Boybot comic I promised. I guess you could call this a cheat, since I’m posting it as a filler comic instead of a bonus comic, yadda yadda yadda. But I have a ton of work to do today, my mom is getting into town for a visit in mere hours, and I stayed up till 5:30 in the morning to finish and post it. So…there you are.

Regular comics will resume on Wednesday and for the foreseeable future, due to a little promise I made since you guys threw all that money at me. Speaking of, if anyone still wanted a sketch card from me, if you throw me a donation of at least $5 before August ends, I will send you one still! But only until the end of the month. I’m still having Internet Problems. (At least my Brain Problems have mostly subsided. Mostly.) But I’m making sure these strips get posted, dagnabbit!

My mom will be visiting me next week, so I’ll see about throwing up one more piece of filler some time then to help save me a little time. I may let the Boybot strip do double duty, but we’ll see. It’s not September yet! It’s not technically cheating!

Almost all of the packages from the fundraiser have gone out, minus one or two because of my needing to print more mini-comics. I’ll be taking care of that, spirits willing. MIX will be kind of a bust without a fresh print run!

OMG YOU GUYZ. MIX is this week! So much prep I still have to do! Need to print more mini-comics, for one thing. And draw a bunch. And clean the house. And go do other things. And still remember to eat and sleep. It never ends.
